Job Title: Lead Line Cook

Location: Paradox Brewery, 2781 US Rt. 9 North Hudson NY 

Terms: Full Time

Requirements: Flexible Schedule, Weekend Availability, Holiday Availability

Compensation: $16 - $18 per hour depending on experience

About the Role: 

Paradox Brewery is seeking experienced line cooks to operate a brand new menu in our newly constructed pavilion/event space - menu input and creativity are encouraged, sanitation skills are a must well as presentation and organization - benefits are available ( 50% company match Health Insurance ), guaranteed 2 days off a week and early nights out (kitchen closes 30 min before tasting room)

Responsibilities:

• Report to the Tasting Room Manager
• Ensure both kitchens, counters, sinks, utensils, coolers, shelving, and storage areas are clean and comply with established sanitation standards, hygiene, and health standards.
• All other day-to-day activities as necessary to keep the brewpub maintained.
• Ability to multi-task in a noisy, fast-paced and distraction-filled environment.
• Special projects as assigned by management

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be 18+ years old
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be friendly and outgoing with strong customer service skills
• Must be organized 
• Must be willing to work as a team and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and nonverbal communication 
• Ability to adjust and adapt quickly to changes in schedule
• Ability to work on your feet for several hours at a time
