Job Title: Lead Line Cook

Location: Paradox Brewery, 2781 US Rt. 9 North Hudson NY 

Terms: Full Time

Requirements: Flexible Schedule, Weekend Availability, Holiday Availability

Compensation: $16 - $18 per hour depending on experience

About the Role: 

Paradox Brewery is looking for a dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. This role is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with precision, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring food quality and safety. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well with a team, and takes pride in delivering excellent meals.

Responsibilities:

• Report to the Kitchen Manager
• Ensure both kitchens, counters, sinks, utensils, coolers, shelving, and storage areas are clean and comply with established sanitation standards, hygiene, and health standards.
• All other day-to-day activities as necessary to keep the brewpub maintained.
• Ability to multi-task in a noisy, fast-paced and distraction-filled environment.
• Special projects as assigned by management

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be 18+ years old
• Prior kitchen experience preferred
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be friendly and outgoing with strong customer service skills
• Must be organized 
• Must be willing to work as a team and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a high-energy setting. 
• Ability to adjust and adapt quickly to changes in schedule
• Ability to work on your feet for several hours at a time
