General Scope:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that strengthen the Paradox Brewery brand, drive wholesale and taproom sales, and support long-term business growth. This role oversees product launches, content creation, digital marketing, events, partnerships, public relations, and brand management while collaborating cross-functionally with sales, brewing, operations, and leadership. The ideal candidate combines creativity with strategic thinking, using data and market insights to deliver measurable results, maximize ROI, and build meaningful connections with customers, distributors, and retail partners.
Roles and Responsibility:
- Sets measurable objectives and reports on the performance of marketing strategy to drive awareness and purchase intent
- Develop short and long-term marketing campaigns, product launches, budgets, and goals for the wholesale and retail channels of all Paradox Brewery Products from ideation to execution
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge on all existing and new beer releases Reference sales strategy regarding the promotion of all products.
- Evaluates partnership and sponsorship opportunities with the goal of delivering positive ROI
- Maintain a consistent brand image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, merchandise, website and social channels in line with marketing and branding guidelines.
- Own marketing budget tracking and drive department and campaign performance, KPIs, and metrics, aligning tactics with key results and keeping big picture ROI top of mind
- Plan and execute all aspects of the marketing mix (including digital, social, influencer, PR, and more) based on where the company is today, as well as thinking several steps ahead
- Produce high-quality and visually appealing content, including graphics, photos, and videos, to showcase our brewery’s products and events.
- Assists in the creation of intelligent, strategic presentations with a high level of polish and storytelling to wholesale and retail partners
- Collaborate with the brewing and sales teams to capture behind-the-scenes moments and highlight our unique brewing process
- Partners with FOH management to drive traffic into the taproom via event promotions and other marketing vehicles to generate on-site sales
- Works closely with wholesaler partners to achieve shared business objectives
- Engage cross functionally with sales, operations, graphic design, FOH and Management to proactively plan marketing support, determine channel mix, build a premium / ultra premium brand(s), and accomplish company-wide goals
- Engage cross functionally to ensure timely delivery of newsletters to customers, wholesalers, investors and mug club members
- Stay informed of the best marketing options, leveraging data to unlock opportunities now and in the future
- Monitors industry news, sharing key learnings and implications with the team
- Special Projects as assigned by management
Skills:
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Creative mindset with an eye for branding, photography, and visual storytelling
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation
- Experience with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools is a plus
- Basic understanding of digital marketing, email marketing, and website updates
- Self-starter who is eager to learn and comfortable working independently
- Positive attitude with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Interest in craft beer, hospitality, or consumer brands preferred
