Ride, Refresh, Repeat: Our Favorite Bike Routes from Paradox Brewery
Jul 18, 2025
Whether you’re a road warrior or gravel-grinding adventurer, Paradox Brewery is perfectly positioned to be your basecamp for an unforgettable ride in the Adirondacks. With winding roads, sweeping views, and light traffic, our corner of the park is a hidden gem for cyclists looking to climb, coast, and then cool down with a cold one.
Just be warned: this isn't flatland riding. What the terrain lacks in chill, it makes up for in challenge and scenery — and honestly, a post-ride beer tastes a whole lot better after you’ve earned it.

🛤️ Mixed Surface Routes
Gravel fans, rejoice. These mixed surface rides feature backroads, dirt lanes, and just enough grit to make your tires (and heart) happy:
-
Paradox Gravel Loop – 27 miles
Road climbing and then a long gravel road to a spectacular view at Boreas Ponds (have to walk the last bit into the pond) -

A remote ride through the woods and fields to the east of the brewery. -
Schroon East Crossover – 20 miles
Scenic wooded ride past streams and pond, and past the birthplace of the electrical age.
🍺 Ride Back for a Reward
Each of these routes begins and ends right at the brewery, so once you’ve put in the miles, we’ve got the finish line covered — pizza, wings, Adirondack views, and a crisp pint of your choosing. (Might we suggest our Paradox Pilsner or Southern Hemisphere DIPA to kick back with?)
