General Scope:
You would be participating in all aspects of brewing and cellar operations. (Brew house, mill house, water house, CIP’s, transfers, dry hops/cold side additions, yeast harvesting, yeast health, process staging, gravity/PH/DO/CO2 readings, purging, general cellar/brewhouse maintenance, record keeping, recipe development, cleaning, ingredient/warehouse organization, etc.).
You would also be assisting all Production Team members in their roles whenever possible. We are looking for at least 35-40 hours/week with the possibility of more depending on production and availability. Forklift capability is a requirement. Many of the skills and responsibilities can and will be taught over time. We would start with cellar operations then move to transfers/filtration and finally move to brew house operations, all with the end goal to make you proficient in all aspects of the brew house and cellar.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Full understanding of all aspects of hot and cold side operations including brew house, mill house, water house, centrifuge, transfers, CIP’s tanks, tank additions, yeast harvesting, yeast health, process staging, gravity/PH/DO/CO2 readings, records, and general processes.
- Full understanding of the CIP Skid and standard CIP operations.
- Maintaining the cellar and brew house equipment including hardware, pumps, hosing, heat exchangers, compressors etc.
- Chemical handling and titrations.
- Attention to detail and efficiency in all aspects of work.
- Putting together/taking apart manifolds.
- Ability to run forklift in tight spaces.
- Maintaining cellar/brewhouse organization including hosing, fittings, hardware, tools, brinks, buckets, equipment, etc.
- Maintaining warehouse, grain, adjunct and hop organization.
- Cleaning any and all exterior surfaces in the brewery including the cellar, tanks, kegs, canning line, floors, walls, etc.
- Working with high pressures.
- Maintaining a safe, healthy and clean work environment.
- Assisting all Production Team members in their roles whenever possible.
- Participating in Team Meetings.
- Adhering to all safety protocols implemented by Paradox Brewery.
Starting Wage $23/Hour+ depending on experience.
